Come winter the area transforms into a pristine alpine paradise. With ski resorts Cardrona, Treble Cone, Snow Park & Snow Farm only 40mins drive away, and others in the region. You will be spoilt with the variety of skiing and snowboarding fun. Then relax with a good meal or drinks in one of Wanaka’s fine restaurants, or return to Wanaka Lakehouse for a Central Otago Pinot Noir by the fire, home cooked dinner followed by a luxury spa, swim, sauna and sleep.
